My children have been at Crofton Children’s Centre since they were two years old, and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to send them. They have really blossomed under the loving care they receive here. Their education here goes well beyond learning things like letters and numbers – they have developed a passion (and talent!) for different types of arts and crafts, and their imaginations have bloomed through play and exploration. The teachers care for the children with such compassion and respect, it truly is a nurturing environment.

As an early childhood educator and researcher I had extremely high expectations when choosing a preschool for my daughters; Crofton Children’s Center met and exceeded those expectations. Their program is one of very few that successfully combine academics with play and child centered learning. They truly demonstrate ‘Developmentally Appropriate Practice’ in their curriculum. They take a family centered approach and establish a relationship with every family. Both of my daughters thrived in their program! Everyone at the Crofton Children’s Centre truly cares about the kids. Every other place that we have been with our little ones has had at least some (and sometimes much more) of the staff that were just there because they needed the money and the hours seemed to work for them.
